Welcome to DigitalP2P. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Platform Overview
DigitalP2P is a privacy-focused peer-to-peer (P2P) cryptocurrency exchange that facilitates direct trades between users. We provide the technology infrastructure — including escrow protection, dispute resolution, and communication tools — but do not act as a counterparty in any trade.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use DigitalP2P. By using our services, you represent that you meet this requirement and that your use complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
3. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. DigitalP2P will never ask for your password outside of the login process. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Trading Rules
All trades are facilitated through escrow protection. Sellers' cryptocurrency is locked in escrow — via smart contracts on Polygon or hold invoices on Lightning Network — until both parties confirm the trade is complete. Users must act in good faith, complete trades promptly, and provide accurate payment information.
5. Prohibited Activities
You may not use DigitalP2P for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or any other illegal activity. You may not manipulate prices, create fake orders, engage in wash trading, or abuse the dispute resolution system. Violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban.
6. Dispute Resolution
If a trade dispute arises, either party may open a dispute through the platform. Our admin team will review the evidence provided by both parties and mediate a resolution. Escrowed funds remain locked until the dispute is resolved. Dispute decisions are final.
7. Fees
DigitalP2P may charge trading fees as displayed on the platform at the time of each trade. Fee structures may change with prior notice. Network transaction fees (gas fees, Lightning routing fees) are separate and determined by the respective blockchain networks.
8. Limitation of Liability
DigitalP2P is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for losses resulting from market volatility, network failures, user errors, or unauthorized account access. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and technology on DigitalP2P are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform's code, design, or content without prior written permission.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the platform or via email.
